There's zero customization, you're full of it, you just get sucked in by their gimmicks that provide the illusion of customization like the rpgs with skill trees that no matter what you're gonna unlock the whole skill tree so there is in reality zero customizationĪnd being able to have 10 generals and 10 units to each general in an army in TW:M2 was way better.Īll koei ROTK games give you at least 10 scenarios with fully playable stories and movies, with tons of factions and a create your own faction option, scenarios that have both historical starting lands and fictional ones all on the first day for the initial price, its objectively a better gameĮven kessen II with it's completely fictionalized story was a million times better of a TK game than this and i was never much of a sega fan to begin with, certain titles they've helped develop and move along, but not titles i've ever been into so i couldn't give too hot stinkin sh*ts for what you think sega has done for you, it really doesnt effect my opinion of this sh*t game, this game is just a dumbed down version of TW:M2 with new skins, a horrible relationship system, and a new diplomacy system which honestly is probably the best feature this game has. certainly a much better job than this garbage.Īlso to the douche who is a sega fanboy, sega just owns CA they're just a company that sega bought out, sega devs have nothing to do with this game. koei's personality scripting though is amazing, most rulers and main generals play as their historical personality dictates, phenomenal job there, they have rich stories and movies that bring the novel to life, it is the closest thing to playing the novel there is. Koei's games are far from the full experience but what they do, they get right, the worst bart of ROTK games is the difficulty ai, it never gets better strategy just throws more units and resources at you the more difficult you make it, which this game has that same problem. this game doesn't live up to the period at all. I don't want to finish it the game sucks, god its like you guys respond without even reading or understanding what i'm saying, have any of you played TW:M2 it was a better game les gimmicks better functionality, the only improvement at all is the general relations which is so backwards that brothers hate brothers and sons hate fathers, it's so messed up and none of it brings any realism of the three kingdoms period to life, it all goes against almost everything I know about the three kingdoms period, I've read the entire luo guanzhong book multiple times as well as researching the actual sgz's. Well, a man's trash is another man's treasure XD Oprindeligt skrevet af BlueDragonBud:like i said i don't care about the lost save that much, it really was the last straw for me, i was frustrated from the beginning between the quality and lack of features and my disappointment just grew and grew, sh*t game sh*t development company, same par as madden and ea sports, although even more so here, no improvement in gameplay or functionality, just keep throwing new skins and adding gimmick features, a lot of which take away from the overall enjoyment of play instead of adding to it TW:M2 was hands down a better game, 11 years and no forward progress is real bad for anything in the tech industry, and the worst part about it is that TW:TK requires so much more system resources, for nothing, no improved scripting, the graphics aren't even decent enough to require so much system resources, it makes no sense how they can even make this sh*t game take up so much video resources on your system, whole thing absolute garbage, save yourself the frustration and throw $100 in the garbage
